Welcome to our website!  We invite you to take a look around to see the great and exciting things we are doing in preschool!  If you would like additional information, you may call our director, Cindy Zientak, at 615-261-8663.

The date is set!  Open Enrollment for new students will be February 15th, 2012!  We always look forward to having many new faces at SMA and want you to come be a part of our school.  Priority enrollment for current students, SMCOC members and SMA alumni families will take place in January.  If you qualify for priority enrollment, please contact the school office no later than January 31st to secure your spot.

We will conduct tours of the preschool every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. beginning January 10th through February 14th.  No appointment is needed for this tour day.  We will tour as a group and then be happy to answer any individual questions you may have.

More Information about Open Enrollment:

    • Numbers will be handed out at 8:00 a.m. on a first come, first served basis.  We will begin calling numbers to register students at 10:00 a.m.
    • Please bring a completed application and a copy of your child's immunization record to help the process go quickly and smoothly.  If your child is placed in class, you will need to pay the materials/registration fee.  (See the "Apply" tab for details and amounts)
    • Please be considerate of others - in order to hold your spot in line, you must be physically present.
    • The first week of Febuary, we will post the number of open spots in each class on our website.  This will be after all priority enrollment students are placed in class and will give you an idea of what is available for your child.

Guiding Principles

“Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Jesus said:  “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.” Matthew 18:5

Program Goals

The teachers want to facilitate your child’s learning through fun and mentally stimulating activities.  They are dedicated to providing a loving environment and will achieve all goals primarily with positive reinforcement and praise.

Mission Statement

The central aim of the Spring Meadows Academy is to provide a loving, Christian environment in which to nurture and educate children.  We also strive to provide a program that supports and uplifts our church family and community as they raise their children.
  • To assist in the growth of the whole child by promoting spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development.
  • To provide a Christian environment which will promote a positive self-concept.
  • To assist children in learning to play together and develop social skills.
  • To minister to families in our church and provide outreach opportunities for those in our community by developing relationships with them and their children.
